New light table test shoot...
Greetings,
Added adjustable paper holders to my new table and decided to test shoot some bubbles
Had a heck of a time getting the label clear then "discovered" the writing on the back was showing through, sigh...
Windex bottle, slightly shaken.

Light table set up, 30" x 30" x 1/4" plate glass and banner paper.

Literally a snap shot of a glass shrimp bowl by Lee Brady, no adjustments to the light stands, just replaced the Windex bottle with the glass piece.

C & C welcome.
Cheers, Don

I do like the even-ness of the bottom lighting, I think it shows off the piece well. I'm just wondering what the reflections on top are from?
-
Top of the bottle or top of the glass bowl?
Doesn't matter, it's the umbrella in the glass piece and the bulbs on the bottle...
Cheers, Don

Oh, well, the glass bowl. I was assuming the windex bottle was just for testing.
Anyways, yeah, I do like the underlighting effect on the glass dish - nice and even, regardless of angle.

You missed this part?

Don, you will be a studio lighting superstar pretty soon.
-
It definitely is a different kind of search for the "perfect" shot

Well, no, but I was assuming that the Windex bottle picture wouldn't be going up in a gallery somewhere...
NVM.
I like the way the bowl looks lit from underneath - I think it's a nice way to do glass

Greetings,
I reshot the Windex bottle with a light tent, the "shine" is much more even and the text on the back of the label wasn't a problem....

And just for the heck of it, HOT Sauce

Cheers, Don

I really like the hot sauce, it really seems to be floating in white space.
