Okay ... the box showed up, today ... I packed it up ... it leaves, tomorrow.
I almost thought about getting a Canon 50D, in the meantime. Yeah ... LOL Like that'd happen.
Nah, the α100 is a perfect fallback ... no, it does not have all the bells and whistles, but as Frank has heartily and enthusiastically shown us ... it delivers the shot. In fact, it is kind of weird ... looking down and seeing the α100 with the 70-200 f/2.8 riding on it. LOL

LMAO, isn't that great? SLRs have interchangeable (very expensive) lenses! Too bad they aren't all universal.

Oh, I have a set of those that are, too. The TAMRON Adaptall2 series. All Manual lenses, but can be adapted to almost every camera type out there. Handy buggers, to be sure. FF - APS-C - 35mm-Film ... doesn't matter.

No, it's worse ... it's like seeing your mother-in-law ... in a black negligee.

OMG ... I'm having A700 withdrawals!
I keep wanting to show the camera to unsuspecting Canon EOS and Nikon users ... and have them running to the SONY Style store for a change in camera line. LOL Yeah!
Nah ... I just miss the Quik Menu system it has versus the A100 second knobber.

She be back!
Yes ... life is better ... the A700 has been returned from far away lands ... adjusted, cleaned and repaired.
BRING ON YEAR 2!
I've got me some lenses, this time! Well, one or two.

Set up an arrangement, next week, for a model to do some portrait work. I've been anxious to fire up the strobes and try them and the reflectors out.
This week I'm packing up the RV ... for it's long winter's nap.
I can tell the A700 is happy to be home, again. LOL It is resting comfortably with the 70-200 mounted on it. I was hoping the A900 would have worked out, but I waiting on this one for a bit. There seem to be some unexplained things going on with Full Frame, so I'm not quite ready to "jump the gun." Also ... with the markets so soft and my portfolio reduced by 35-40% ... things are not longer in the same condition they were in March. I know "things change", but this is getting rediculous.
I had hoped for a better September ... and it is beyond my imagining, that's for sure. I would rather have had the pleasure of flushing the money down the commode, myself, thank you.

What unexplained things with the a900? The only issue I know of is the vignetting with some lenses, which I think is due to the FF. Other than that, what else is up?
