    Nope, it locks on each image and setting ... no more running with the proverbial wind.

    You know, the annoying thing is ... they DID fix it. Which means, if they had looked at it correctly - THE FIRST TIME - they could have fixed it back then (Oct 2008).

    Anyway ... tomorrow begins anew ... the Day after "Groundhog Day!"

    I did a series of comparison shots, to test the non-Di 70-300mm against the 70-300 Di model. The lenses shot identically and only displayed a difference (due to ADI in the Di-lens) when used with a flash.

    The A700 was steady as she goes ... whew!

    Hey, TomF ... how's that 70-200 f/2.8 and 200-500mm f/5-6.3 workin' for you? I like your choice in glass. Good kit!

    Don, I'm very happy with both of them. I use the 70-200 quite a bit. I haven't had the opportunity to use 200-500 that much but hopping that will change when the weather warms.
