I did try to blur the edges. I never though of selecting the area I wanted to work on. Another tip from your uncle Don. LOL

Look at my lake in the woods post I tried a HDR but had to convert it to a JPEG. I want to know if I did it right.

Frank, I felt it was a little too ... desaturated. It lost something ...

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.
