Yeah it is. Too bad that D80 carries the noisy CCD sensor, darn it all.

I know its not the best DSLR out there, but for someone on a budget, you get a hell of a lot for that price! The D80 can produce better images than 98% of DSLR owners are capable of, IMO.

Hell, I'm still rockin' the D50 (until you guys get together and buy me a D700)!

Same here except as somebody with way more posts than you I'm well ahead of you in the free D700 stakes although I know I'm well behind Rooz as well.
Anybody know a good, reliable hitman?

That sure destroys my D80 resale value. That effectively makes my D90 purchase more expensive.

I'm keeping my D80. It's just not worth it to sell it at the price the market will pay now for a used D80. It'll be my backup. I tried the D90 at B&H yesterday, and although I was heavily leaning towards getting a D90, I am now certain I will be getting a D300 as my next camera body. Video just doesn't outweigh the D300's 51 AF points, rugged hefty body, and watertight sealing.

Does anyone know if they made any change to Auto ISO mode? Like a faster shutter speed? D80 was limited to only 1/125.

Im tempted to go for the D80 tbh but the D90's new sensor is just too tasty to pass. I'd rather save an extra month and enjoy the high iso preformance for the next few years .

I am so happy I sold my D80 body for $650 used on Craigslist several months ago.
