I just got a report that as of 11:30 the sun is shinning and not a cloud in the sky over on Long Beach Island. That is the closest beach to me. I will keep an eye out and try to get some images. I wish I could find the pictures I took of one of the last major storms to hit here it was Gloria in 1985. The waves were crashing under the ocean front homes. I am far enough away from the flooding I just have to worry about the wind.

Good luck, Frank ... and don't forget to hold onto to something!

As of 6:00 PM just some rain and mild winds about 20-25mph. No need to hold on yet. I may take a ride at about 8:00 after the tide goes down.

Big blow out, eh?
Looks like it is retreating along the coast ... far less intense.

Oh well, "Surf's Down!", I guess.

Just rain and some wind. I guess we got lucky again.
