Lens Test

I borrowed a friends Tamron 28-200 lens. Went down to the bay for a few quick shots before the rain started. I couldn't find anything good to shoot. I will try tomorrow to take a few of the hunting shack and a maybe the lighthouse.

I like #3, now to use my photography lessons to figure out why! maybe just because.
I would love to live close to the water Frank, and I'm not talking streams and ponds lol got those here. lake Erie is about 75 miles from me, along with the only river in the world that burned!

#3, frank you got a spot on your sensor or lens

The water in the last one is an interestingly very nice dark blue, it's different.... A closeup of that sailboat would look great!

I seen the spots on the sensor but my battery wasn't fully charged and I couldn't clean it.

Tried to edit the Marina image. How does it look?

Hmm, I'm not sure which I like better. I think somewhere in between. You sure brought out the color in the boats though!

You think I should leave the sky and just edit the colors in the boats?

I was thinking of that, maybe bring out the colors of the boats a bit too. Do you know how to do it with a layer mask in photoshop? That way you can essentially combine the two images. Sorta like pseudo hdr just to get more range.
