    TAMRON Zooms for the SONY

This survey is find out what popular TAMRON Zoom lenses are being used on the various SONY offerings that are in use.

Your participation is requested to kind of get a feel for what TAMRON lenses the forum members are choosing to use on their cameras. There has been a serious reduction in availability of late, as some lenses have been discontinued, only to be included, now, in the SONY line.

    Thank you for your participation

lol I think it's just sean and me who voted (judging by the same two lenses)

If I were to ever go on vacation, I would definitely get the 18-250/3.5-6.3!

Well, I included the 70-300mm f/4-5.6 (non-Di) ... because, some people have it and some others have the upgrade.

Anyway ... w/o the 70-200mm f/2.8 being available, perhaps I may have made a mistake including it, at this time.

Which upgrade are you speaking of? The Sony G version?

No, no ... the Actual "DI"-version is the "upgrade" for digital cameras ... I do not have one. I have the 35mm-film version (non-Di).

Sean .... I have placed a "special order" for the SONY-mount TAMRON SP AF 70-200 f/2.8 Di LD MACRO. It may cost a bit more, this way ... but, I have been assured that I should have it by next week. I have learned that nothing seems to be guaranteed until it is in your "lil' grubbies" when it comes to photographic equipment.

Weren't you in line at Adorama since the spring?

Where'd you "special order" it direct from Tamron? On their site or a special super secret phone number (that's probably listed on their website)?3

I used a local vendor ... who says they can deliver. Guess we shall see ... I really hate paying tax, though.
