Nick, Nick, Nick... you keep bringing that Nikon rubbish here and everyone's gonna start thinking you're a double agent!

No seriosuly though, i do agree with you Nick. Canon seems to have always marketed their products to the older crowd, "Capture your memories" "Capture the kids!" "Capture the pets" and Nikon seems to try to target the more artsy and edgy kids... like the scene kids and emo kids and all the kids that have to own an SLR because it's artistic. Much in the same way the PC vs Mac marketing tends to go.

Paradox: this is what we get here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIRLDW1t_lY

The emo kids just see the skateboard vid and go "that's the camera that best describes me as an emo kid!"

You know Nick, I think you might be an industrial/ goth kid at heart, you sure do bring up emo's in a negative light a lot. :P

I didn't know I was bashin' Emos. It's true I don't like the self pity, the hair style, the clothing, ect. but I didn't know people could tell.

You don't have to BASH emos for people to KNOW you don't like them.

NO one likes them, not even themselves.

Agreed. Nikon is really going after the younger, more "edgy" crowd, just like Apple. Go into any "trendy" coffee shop - alot more MacBooks than PC based laptops. Getting young people to buy into the Nikon system is obviously a smart move.
