Sean,
Remeber that the '56 marries up nicely with the '36 ... but, if you buy the '42, you will need the '58 to make full use of it as a slave. There are these new things called "flash groups" ... which should be investigated, should you decide to go that route. Of course, the SONY Style store clerk will have absolutely no clue as to what you are talking about.
Kind of sounds like:
"Your mission, should you decide to accept it... and that should any team member be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions."

Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

Arghhhhhhhhhh!!
more stuff to learn damn o.k. Don I have so much to learn and work on improving already, still having a hell of a time with a level horizon, can only claim it's "artsy" and you wouldnt understand the concept so many times
I think unless I tie up all my money in glass I will likely go with one of the Sony's and not be looking for a slave unit for some time as in a couple of years. I just don't think I will use it enough to justify the soon to be out one to spend that kind of money on it.
