    Whats in the box?

    It's my 'brand new" Minolta AF 50mm f1.7 prime U.S. mail did there best to man handle it but it was VERY well packed. Including shipping I got it for about $25.00 - $50.00 less thenthe going rate on the bay, And a nice double bonus, a u.v. filter and a CPL filter and both caps, lens is super clean. Thank You!

    Prime Photos

    Just a couple quick and dirty........WOW a bit more skill development, a better understanding of exposure, and get the camera off those damn presets photos should be amazing. If you don't got one buy one, but watch the prices, maybe watch at a quality used gear shop. Took some other shots with it also, o.k. I do see what "minolta color" is, and I like it.

    Doggone, Sean ... that looks like a well-maintained optic. You should get plenty of mileage out that lil' guy!

    new prime

    I got it from a private sale, I had been watching and watching ebay, they have been going up since I started my research in the spring. about a year ago the price was about $75.00 for a mint or near mint cond. very good / very clean were about $60.00. today they are bringing down about $120.00 - $150.00 which I think is outrageous. Keep your eyes open, take some time, or like I said go through respected camera shops, let them know to "watch" for one for you. As for me my total out of pocket was $115.00 U.S. including shipping, the lens bag, uv and cpl. filters. I am sure I got a break because the person wanted to "help me out" and to get better.
