Have you done some shots at 200 and then at 100 ? 200 just seems to "look" better than 100. got to love that SSS! I still need someone to come up with that internal frame level indicator lol

I was taking some stills of my computer last week and when I zoomed in I was like hmmmm, these don't look too great, OH THAT'S WHY!! Who set it at 200 ISO??? lol, then had to go back and re-do them so I could sleep well that night.

I can definitely tell 200 and 100 even in good light. It's gotta be close to 75-100% but I can tell there's definitely more grain to the 200 shots. If you are shooting for 4x6 or whatever though, 800 and 100 look identical, at least in my latest prints I sent to snapfish.

I think my shots come out sharper at 200 when I am using my 70-300 at the 200 plus range due to camera shake. I use my 70-300 most of the time that is why I keep it at 200.

ok not to clear, sorry, watching olympics and doing this at same time, and I need to go to bed. It SEEMS to me that when I use the 70-300 pictures at least looking at them on the computer appear a bit better at ISO 200 then ones I take at ISO 100? I don't have lots to compare to though.

Sean, I do agree with you but it is just because of the camera shake. I though it was just me that seen that. LOL Use a tripod and you will see the difference (I think).
