PhillD, that last one looks like the pinhole art filter, naturally made.

OK last three. I took a whole lot more with the 25mm pancake lens, but they are floating in the gallery section.

    21. Yay for shooting RAW, then changing white balance later! Goatherd. f/6.3 1/100s ISO200

    22. I couldn't decide which I liked better. f/6.3 1/100s ISO200

    23. The Farm House. 14mm f/4.8 5s ISO 200

Raven yes that's what reversing the lens does when you use the unreversed lens at a short focal length. I think the 40-150 was at around 40 to 50 mm with the OM 50 reversed for tha t shot. If I zoom out beyond about 100mm then the effect disappears as the field of view reduces & magnification increases dramatically. Haven't tried my 14-42 yet so not sure what it would do.

Ya'll have posted some outstanding shots! I love looking at them.

I've been taking a LOT of pics, but spending more time taking them than posting them, etc. Here's a couple from this past weekend. I don't have waterfalls near me so I had to drive a 100 miles to find some.....

Very nice builder24car. You got the timings for moving water down pat, and the compositions seem good. You might try to find a way to control clipped highlights, though it might not be easy. I think many water fall pictures are done in cloudy weather, or late or early day for that reason.

A few recent ones from China. I'm done typing all the info because I'm lazy, the exif should be there though. I'll still do it if anyone asks.

All with 50mm macro. Also all using the "no aim method" where the camera is around my midsection, vaguely pointed in the right direction. And level, I have a small bullseye level in the hotshoe (I'm keeping it level). I press the shutter with my thumb. The "keeper" rate is astoundingly low, a whole lot of people come out with no heads.

    1. Never sleep on the job if I'm in the same city with a camera. Never.
    2. I don't remember if it's luck or accident
    3. This is no accident, but very lucky nevertheless.

Edit: by the way, no cropping! Except to get the 4:3 to 3:2 in the second two. The left and right sides are all left untouched.

    Nice pictures.

I was surprised to see Graffiti on a wall in China on your 3rd photo.

I don't think it is graffiti per se, looks more like someone doing math with chalk and a young child messing around or something. I have only seen what I would call real graffiti American-style once or twice, in Beijing. Of course you can find people carving names on wooden surfaces sometimes (Liu Na <3 Zhang Feng Fei or something).

Thanks Flintlock I am still experimenting with reversing an old 50mm f1.8 Olympus film camera lens on the end of my kit lenses. I think those were taken with my 40-150 at the short end. The 14-42 also works but there is much more vignetting at the wide end. Here are a few examples with the 14-42 generally cropped to reduce the vignetting.

Kit lens only shot just to show how small the flower was. About 8-10mm across.
