    The Potato Vendor

Also a building, because you know I can't resist buildings.

(With my 14-54, which I returned to the top of my favorite lenses list.)

    Why would it ever leave?

    The potato vendor is cool.

I need to get me a reflector or two...

    Thanks.

Jekostas, looks like someone on a Star Trek set almost.

Well at least you have a flash!

More vendors, using my new method in which I do not stop walking or look through the viewfinder. I just guess where the lens is pointing and let at it from the hip. Apparently the autofocus lock was half a step before the exposure.

And a second one of the earlier guy, because I like this one better.

    Greetings,

    Nothing but work pic's lately

This is a progress shot for a client showing the top moulding sitting on the bottom portion of a tall clock case, shooting the finished product today.

200 w/s strobe and brolly from the side, some of the background on the top right and bottom was still visible so I cloned it out.

Only the two narrow parts in the middle are spray finished, the rest is oiled and ready to finish..

    Cheers, Don

And the completed project, for now I've decided to leave the shadows

The only way to eliminate multiple hot spots on the brass weights was to bounce the strobes off the ceiling...

    Cheers, Don

Yes it looks beautiful Don you have a real craftsmans skill there. The photograph is pretty good too. For me I'd leave the shadows as they are it gives it a more real feeling.

Good work. Might crop from the right a little.
