I like it, sharpness is not always good. Reminds me a little of a shot by a Japanese photographer (whose name I can't remember) of a bunch of ravens at twilight, on grainy ISO1600 tri-x film, with their eyes lit by a flash and wing blur.

This was the shot that got me started thinking about how to turn the camera so the flash shadow hit the landscape, not the subject, though I hadn't yet thought of turning the camera upsidedown.

9-18mm (which now is officially my favorite lens) at 18mm "36mm," f/6.3, ISO 100, fill-in on-board flash, -.07EV flash compensation (my default flash setting).

Lovely shot raven. I bet they look at you a bit strangely when you turn your camera upside down even though it works a treat.

Got some more time out to do some shooting today, finally getting some nice flowers in ye olde Dad's garden.
Straight out of the camera with only a resize done for size requirements.

Caught this little guy in mid-flight.
Apologies, this is pretty highly cropped since I was not shooting with a macro lens.

They seem to have been taken with the 70-300mm at 300mm?

Was this to me? I don't have that lens, it was that Hexanon 52mm again (not bad for a free lens, eh?).
