Yup, and we officially need more people around here.

What lens? I've been thinking about carrying my 410 with me, but the only lens I'd want to use for that is the pancake. Too bad there isn't a wide and a telephoto pancake too.

Here's a shot I got today of Arkwright's mill where the Industrial Revolution started.

Watching the crew's life boat drill was not entirely reassuring. They got away from the ship just fine, but had some issues getting back.

Well if it was an actual disaster they wouldn't be going back would they?

    Raven,

Knowing they would not have to get back to our ship was mildly reassuring, but they would need to get someplace eventually. It was like watching bumper cars.

I like that bridge. Great looking design in the trusses.

Raven that is the Iron bridge at Ironbridge Gorge in Shropshire. It was built by Abraham Darby III as the first iron bridge. The Gorge was at the cutting edge of technology for iron smelting during the time of the industrial revolution. The
mill I photographed is in Derbyshire and is where Richard Arkwright set up his mass production textile works, the birth of the modern weaving loom and flying shuttle I think. Both are World Heritage sites.

Yep spring here too. Here is one of the first shots I've tried with my 35mm macro lens, new spring leaves.
