Dang Rooz! Way to show us how it is done, are you on a roll or have you been this good the whole time? Your pictures are very smooth, both in bokeh and lack of digital noise, while at the same time being sharp where it matters.

And we even have a new member. Hey Torry!

Here is my contribution and attempt at smooth-yet-sharp. A little less saturation than I normally run.

lol you're too generous. I'm fortunate....we're fortunate to be the users of such superb equipment nowadays. It's point and shoot for me regardless of what camera I'm operating right now, they're all that good.

    Great moment you captured there.

Well said Rooz, the level of equipment quality available these days does put more emphasis on the photographer to make that difference with composition and lighting etc.

A warm welcome Jacktorry from me too, it's a while since we had a new member on here. Nice sharpness on that little flower.

Raven that's a nice candid shot well captured.

Thanks Rooz. I am thoroughly enjoying the new E-Ml on my Iceland trip. I would have posted something here, but cannot seem to upload to the forum from my Android tablets.

Let's see if I can use a link to flicker. About half our trip was driving in these conditions.

Nice! Are the rest of the shots in that flickr account yours? Just asking because I don't recognize them. Looks like you are getting some great light when it's not snowing.

They should all be mine, but most are from a variety of trips over the years. I have not been an active flickr user. I wasn't sure if a Google+ link would work here. I almost took that same shot a day later, but it was snowing so much it was not visible. I took that one on Tuesday. When we can't back through on Thursday there was no grass as it was under 6 inches of snow and sleet. It kept snowing and sleeting all night. Friday morning there was at least 8 inches of white stuff. That said we did get some nice light. Biggest issue was that even then it was snowing, so lots of white blobs.

Forgot what I posted to flickr. The series ends with two from the ice cave, they are the obvious blue ones.
