I see you are already making good use of the water resistance. Nice shots, looks like you've gelled well with your new cam. It's a pretty smart lens too I think. I'm afraid I went for the cheap option of the 12-50 on mine hoping to mainly use my 4/3s glass but I'm not sure that was the right decision in hindsight. Time will tell I guess.
You might want to check out this Oly site http://e-group.uk.net/
It has a lot of E-M1 info and the Australian contingent in growing.

For settings these are pretty comprehensive links taken from e-group posts.

What is a MAL-1 and how did I manage to talk you into buying it?

I had to Google MAL-1 to remember what it was.
I think every camera should have one of them available for macro.

Needs to be an inch longer and double the power to really be a valuable tool.

Hmm, I might need to get one for my XZ-2. Too bad there is no way to use it with one of the add on EVF's.

The MAL-1 that Rooz has uses the accessory port on the m4/3 cameras for power.
I have seen generic ones that just mount to the hotshoe and use small watch style batteries.

True, but on the XZ series it also slides into the hot shoe.
