Thanks Rooz and they are sooc too except for a bit of cropping. I got caught in the new camera buzz plus had a bit of help from my employer who gave me a long service award that softened the financial blow. Plus my E510 now needs added sellotape to keep it together! EM-1 arrived on Friday, brilliant service from SRS in the UK. So spent Saturday reading the manual and doing a few familiarisation shots before going out to see what sunrise I could get on Sunday. So not got many shots under my belt yet but so far I'm very impressed. It's a big step forward from the E510.

Wow the second one is nice. I think you'll find the E-M1 to be a much, much nicer camera! Especially the sensor and everything else. (well maybe not battery life)

Thanks raven. I got a spare battery in the deal, sounds like I might need it. Definitely looking good so far. I'll post some impressions when I've got a bit more used to it. No Rooz unfortunately I wimped out of the 2.8 lens it was just too expensive all together. But I did get to try one out though at the London launch event and it's really nice. Having now used the 12-50 though that's not too bad, but definitely looking forward to getting the adapter so I can use my 4/3s lenses.

Well, I have not really worked through my photos from Italy yet. But today I needed to get out in the woods a bit. We have had a visitor on the river near our local nature center this past week. So I had a nice day watching through the 50-200+EC20. I was not really ready for in flight shots, but caught the big guy just as he launched.

Yes excellent sharp and very striking landscapes there Raven.
Really cute candid close ups Rooz. Ruby looks like a little star and you captured her expressions beautifully.
