Nice robin Jekostas. For some reason my the rabbit photo is playing tricks on my brain; something makes me see it as a giant. Wonder what happened to the ear?

No idea. Wild rabbit at a local greenspace. As for the perspective, well, since the local municipality chased out all the coyotes the rabbits are all over the place and they aren't afraid of people. I was able to belly crawl to about 20 feet of this one and get the picture.

Best one yet kg I really like that one. The over bright background makes it even more dramatic.

Now that they are really flying it is tough to catch them. They are 2-3 trees away from the nest and flying 40 feet at a time.

I guess they won't be around for much longer now they are flying. It's been great to follow them growing up.
Changing the theme somewhat I grabbed these bee shots with my kit lens recently. Not exactly macros but I was pleased with what the kit lens delivered. SOOC except for a bit of cropping.

    Phil,

Great color and detail in the bees. I think I would crop that second one a bit tighter.

Well, I do hope to catch the hawks a few more times this week. Meanwhile I grabbed a quick shot of this curious looking finch at my feeder.

In good light you can certainly get a decent shot with the 50-200 handheld. They hawks are moving far too much now to use the monopod effectively.
