Apparently, I am capable of growing things.

    Totally surprised me.

Here's a Cowbird looking much more regal than it's name would suggest

    Don,
You really expect a teenager to cooperate in your photo sessions?

    Jekostas,
I have been capable of growing things, but my wife tells me beer guts don't count.

    Builder,
I really like the colors in that graffiti.

I was worried that this thread was getting a little sleepy lately. I hope to have some things to post this week.

I'd be happy with that detail from the 70-300.. maybe convert to B&W ?

A couple of shots from my hike on Thursday just outside Mount Rainier NP. I recently upgraded to Photoshop CS4 and it is not playing nice with my graphics adapter. I need to take a look at my color management; saturation seems to be completely over the top, but only in CS4. The second shot is a two exposures 2 EV apart merged to hold the detail in Rainier.

I did try converting to black and white, it came out a little bit weird looking with the PP I'd already done, so I decided to keep it as is (with the weird atmospheric colouring it got).

Thanks for the compliment - I am quite happy with it. Handheld as well.
