Strangely very likeable Raven I like the second one best, nice reflections in the wet road but I'd have cropped the white line off the bottom. Did you use one of the art filters for these?
Don I bet those hummers are hard to shoot, I have enough trouble with our local sparrows! nice one.
Around every picture there's a corner & round every corner there's a picture
- the fun's in finding them
They are a bit of a challenge but the funny thing is in hindsight, each improvement in my technique comes with a "duh", why didn't I think of that sooner moment
The male has been here for about a week and yesterday the female arrived.
Not great conditions but I've been waiting all winter for this
I guess I am committed to the 50-200 now. Adorama got it shipped under the Olympus rebate wire. Does this mean I need to save up for the EC14? Make it stop... I think I hear my wife opening my credit card bills...
The EC-20 has a reputation of degrading image quality without very, very careful usage, though. The 50-200MM + EC-14 is a very highly regarded combination.
P.S. Yes, I'm still alive, just no time for shooting lately because of work and health issues.

I've also read that about the ec20 degrading image quality but after using/owning both I haven't experienced it
My 50-200 arrived this morning. Still as heavy as I remember it. At least I now know how to remove the tripod collar. Never figured that out when I rented which made for some awkward handholding. A couple of quick shots from around the office parking lot both pretty close up.
Don, at the moment I can't see yours because I am not bypassing the firewall.
The 50-200mm looks nice, contrastier than the 70-300 and some other quality i can't quite identify. I want a nice long lens but so far I can't justify it.
