I guess it's time for a few old shots to help bump up the thread. This was from last September in the Amazon. Yeah, it's blurry(hey I was in a small boat), but it was a good moment.

About a year ago I arbitrarily decided not to post pictures larger than 800 pixels horizontal or 700 pixels vertical. But now I'm using a miniature laptop with only 600 vertical .

I'd post more but the slower speed and small screen of this thing have slowed me down recently.

I use a small netbook on occasion too it works pretty well I find. If images are too big to look at in one go I often use the windows zoom button bottom right of the screen to zoom out it works pretty well you just have to zoom back in to read text. Only problem I have using it is that for some reason it won't let me post images to DCRP. Everything else works but the manage attachments buttons. Just can't understand why

I like the "netbook" for its portability, but if I did it again I'd get at least 720 pixels vertical, that seems the minimum for many programs to work correctly. Can't imagine why the buttons wouldn't work... not a linuxbook is it?

Another from my "Futility" series... the herb boxes didn't go so well this year.

And one more. The Swiss Chard didn't do so well, either.

Jekostas I am thinking you need to change your name to Herb Icide.

Not exactly green fingers then but interesting shots though. Not very often you see dead plant shots on here. Maybe you'll have better luck next year.

We had about three weeks of extremely hot, extremely dry temperature in the middle of an otherwise mild summer - the temperature shock killed everything.

Last in the series - taken with my 14-54 MkI, which arrived last week.
