    how do you get those dragon fly shots....do you have a freeze gun or something...I saw sooo many on my trip but none of stood still for a second!!!!

    definitely, how do you get these shots? i think you said these are all 1:1 with the 100 macro, and to get 1:1 you have to get pretty close...every time i try they fly away....or move....what's the secret...

    the trick with dragonflies is to find ones which are resting comfortably& try to take the shots without disturbing them too much
    Everything except #2 was taken with the 70 200

    #3 & 5 are my favorites; I don't get the appeal of the 2nd one though.

    #2 is a controversial one, it is a bit off a mixed bag, roughly 50% viewing it seem to like it
