Cape May Lighthouse
Cape May Lighthouse. I had a hard time trying to get this to look ok in PS the sun was bright and to the right of the lighthouse. How does it look?
Thanks Frank

A little dusty at the top ... try selectively improving the saturation up there.

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

Selectively outline the top of the lighthouse ... then go to "Image" > "Adjustments" > "Hue/Saturation"
Use the Saturation slider to increase the color of the red top. It may improve the contrast lost to the bright sky and shadow.

Similar to this, Frank:
B4 . . . . . . . . . AFTA
It's subtle, I admit ... but, sometimes that is all it takes!

Just a little hint of red ... everything becomes clear. It still amazes me.
Good job!

Looking better! the lighthouse looks a bid out of place, the building under it on the left seems to come from nowhere, lol the perspective is playing tricks on me!
