    Weekend in Lower Bavaria

This weekend I tested my new 450D with the 18-55mm and the 55-250mm after switching from digital compact to DSRL.
Here are some shots, C&C are very welcome.

    Nice shots...
Are those butterfly/bee pictures cropped or does the 55-250 let you take pictures of such magnification....??

    From the specification:
min. focus distance: 1.1m (max. magnification ratio ~1:3)

DSLR world is not easy, but I love it. I like it to setup everything manual. I try to skip the automatic and semiautomatic modes.
And I got great help from this forum. A great thx to everyone who gave me tips and help.
I'm still at the beginning, but I will do my best to get better and better. It's a great hobby and I have a lot to learn. And practice practice .....

I agree with 24Peter...you are showing a lot of promise already....
In the beginning I used to skip the Auto or semiAuto modes just to enable me to learn more....so nothing wrong with that but more recently, I've been shooting more in those SemiAuto modes as it lets me catch an image quickly without much hassle....(while driving etc)
Get a flash if you're going to try your hand at indoor stuff....or for fill flash.....that is surely the next thing you should buy!!!
