Can someone explain me what the difference is between EF and EF-S ?
Ok I found it. EF-S is only for crop factor 1.6 body's and the EF are for full size too.

I bought the 55-250 based on all the recommendations from the forum. I looked at several places but I believe I ended up buying from Adorama which is one of the recommended sites as far as reliable to deal with. I believe they had it for $279.99 which was the cheapest I found of the big online sites that I felt comfortable dealing with. They were in stock and promise a 3-5 day delivery.

Hi,
yesterday I bought the EF-S 55-250 (269€). Now, I'm bankrupt but happy
And thanks for the hint, "Understanding Exposure" is a great book.
This weekend I will test the EF-S 55-250 intensely and will upload the picture to my flickr account. It would be nice if maybe someone stops by and write a comment
Every tip and criticism is welcome.
bye,
Clouseau
