DSC-T200 images are sometimes split

I've recently acquired a Sony DSC-T200, and it has an intermittent problem.

About 1 in every 10 or 20 photos, is horizontally split, with each side of the split shifted slightly. The exposure detail on either side of the split seems sligthly different.

Looks like a gotta take the camera back to the shop where I bought it from, or contact Sony distributor.

Any ideas on this problem.... I'm also wondering if it is memory stick problem, or is it camera problem.
