As per Olympus be REAL careful in regurads to using a non-E1 system flash on the new E-1 Body. Apparently the new body has a low (6VDC) flash voltage treshhold and anything above 6VDC will take out one or more of the processors in the camera!!!!!

Having owned a OM-2 system for the last 10 years I was courious about using my T-32 flashes on the new body and OLY said NO!!! So Beware!!!!!

Also, although having the E-1 in my hands for less than a day "This thing is everything that it is cracked up to be and more!!!"
