    Took these both on the 15th february, with a 400D and a canon 70-200mm F/4L USM lens.
    No P&P involved, just cropped.

    here's my best of the night:



    messing around with photobucket's new editing stuff


    best results were at f/8...1/160...ISO100
    on tripod with 2 second timer

    im going to shoot again when theres some shadow to see what detail i can get in there. thanks!

    I didn't know we had a moon thread on the go...

    I think all the advice that is needed has been given, so I won't repeat it. But I did want to throw in a collage from the eclipse this winter.


    The moon got harder and harder to shoot as the eclipse wore on, because it was darker, harder to focus on, and it required longer shutter speeds (but not too long, because its moving).
