    Thumbs up Happy Competative news!

    The German magazine, Foto compared the following items:

    a)-Start time
    b)-Auto focus speed until focus lock wide angle-tele
    c)-Frames per second

    The following cameras were tested:

    Canon EOS 40D. . . . . . . . . . . a) 0.2s b) 0.47s-0.48s c) 6.5 f/s
    Fujifilm finepix S5 pro . . . . . . . a) 0.2s b)0.67s-0.50s c) 3 f/s
    Leica Digilux 3 . . . . . . . . . . . . a) 1s b) 0.60s-0.71s c) 3 f/s
    Nikon D200 . . . . . . . . . . . . . .a) 0.2s b) 0.63s-0.54s c) 5 f/s
    Nikon D300 not yet tested
    Panasonic Lumix LI . . . . . . . . . a) 1s b) 0.61s-0.86s c) 3 f/s
    Pentax k10D . . . . . . . . . . . . . a) 0.3s b) 0.65s-0.72s c) 3 f/s
    Samsung GX10 . . . . . . . . . . . a) 0.3s b) 0.56s-0.42s c) 3 f/s
    Sigma SD14 . . . . . . . . . . . . . a) 1.6s b) 1.19s-1.10s c) 3 f/s

    Sony α700 is the best semiprofessional Camera until today got 79% of the overall points second is Canon EOS 40D 77% but they think when they will test the Nikon D300 Sony α700 will get the second place!

    What is left to say? Speed kills?

    Wait... so according to Foto Magazine (magazine with very debatable reviews, I know because I read it at times), shows the Canon to be faster in everything, compared to the Sony?
    And the Sony is first according to you?

    And did they state what lens they tested the cameras with? No?

    What is your point?

    All things are lookin' good for these cameras. Focus at will.
