Thread: I have a D300

    I have a D300

    So I was strolling through the mall today (I am at the parents house since it is Thanksgiving) and decided to stop in at my local Wolf Camera. I know the guys in there and despite it being a "chain" shop, the guys there know what they are doing and always have all the goodies in stock.

    I go in, they've got a D300 on the shelf . I ask them if they have any they are selling. They've got 5 . I call and cancel my pre-order with another shop (shop is two states over, I live in BFE). While I am on the phone, they sell 2 D300s. I picked up the 4th one.

    I now have it and I am waiting for the battery to charge. Its a slick piece of equipment. Will post up pictures later, most of them with cats in them.

    That is all.

    LR Max, congrats on the camera and may it bring you plenty of excellent pics. It will help if you do most of the work though. Thankfully the camera is not that smart yet.

    Will have more later. But that should answer everyones BURNING D300 question. Overall, a real solid piece of equipment. Many times nicer than my D70s.

    A little luminance adjustment and those hi images should be quite printable.

    Edit: on to the important stuff how's the new AF system???
