    Server

Is it just me or does it seem like dcresource server is slowing down. I have a 10mb connection and seems like dial up some times for forum pages loading. Maybe traffic is up so much that it's slowing the server down, if so that's a good thing I guess.

    Jeff?

I certainly haven't noticed anything. Anyone else?

Perhaps you can run a traceroute from your computer to our server and send the results to me?

Occasionally it runs slow, but not often. At least for me, when it is slow it's never as bad as dial-up.

I've noticed it being pretty slow too recently but I blamed the kids downloading stuff at the same time. Perhaps that was a bit too hasty, how do I run a trace route?

No problems down here, everything is running fine. Maybe the occasional mild bit of lag, but it clears up a few minutes later. Nothing serious.

Lightbulb A pause for change ...

My connection to forums just "stopped", today. I tried three or four auto-log-ons and it just hung. Manually typing in and going to the main page seemed pretty normal.

I wound up having to clear my "cached" entries (auto-password and location), cleaned out the cookies, deleted internet files and relogged in.

Amazingly, it all came back and seems pretty normal, now. The refreshed cookies seem to work better.

Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.
