I have a friend who has the the 3.2 megapixel Cybershot, the smaller one, a DSC8 I think. Many of the pictures have started saving really washed out, like the shutter is over exposing. But it's not consistent, other than it tends to be pictures taken outdoors whether sunny or not. But only about half to two thirds of them over expose, some come out just fine? I've looked through all of the settings, tried switing from auto- to a sunlight setting, changing resolution, all has the same outcome. Anyone have an idea? It may just be that something is technically wrong with the camera but i wonder if I am missing something.
