Yes, Jeff, but did you like the camera?

I recently got a chance to use the D3 (and the D300 below), and they had to mop up my drool when the meeting was over.

I wonder when Mr. Keller will get to do his "review" testing for the D3. I personally cant wait to see it!

Hmm... since the production models will appear somewhere in November, it will be a frustratingly long wait...

Just wondering if you all think Jeff will get the chance to review a D3. He hasn't reviewed anything that high end up to this point. Not that I'm in the market for one of those bad boys [$4,999? ] I'd just like to see his opinions on it!

As you can see, Jeff will be reviewing the Canon EOS 1D mark III in september.
So, since the D3 is the Nikon equivalent, if Nikon will lend him a review sample Jeff probably will review it.

Good for you, Jeff! Getting to put a 1Ds Mk. III and a D3 through the ropes will be a rewarding challenge, I'm sure.

I may end up skipping the Mark III and the D3... and sticking to the 40D and D300 instead. Those super cameras take a lot of time to review, and the vast majority of my audience isn't interested in them. I'll probably leave that to DP Review, Rob Galbraith, et al.

You just feel up the D3 and then leave it for it's easier to afford younger sister?

    Honestly....
