    XTi Bag

We just got an XTi and we were looking for a good camera bag. We have a zoom lens and the 18-55 lens. We would like a small bag that would be great for hiking and sightseeing. Does anyone have any recommendations?

What zoom lens? You might be able to get a camera holster for your camera and lens.

I have a lowepro slingshot 200. it's a midsize bag and it's great. They make a smaller 100? should fit your needs.

btw, my bag fits all my listed gear below + cables + charges + memory + cleaning pen.

Rhys-Zoom lens is a 75-300. What is a camera holster?

Chardog-I will look at the lowepro. Thanks.

A camera holster is a triangular bag that holds the camera with a lens attached. They often had a flap down toward the bottom of the main compartment under which a 2nd lens could be carried.

I bought mine in Jessops years ago then donated it to a charity three years back as I never used it.

Try Lowepro Micro Trekker 100, which should hold your camera with lens attached, a flash, and your wide angle lens.
Another thing to consider is that if you plan to get more lenses than you may want to consider other bags like SlingShot 300 AW, which holds camera with 70-200 attached and three more leses, and a flash.
The best zoom lens is two steps forward, and the best wide angle lens is two steps backward.

My vote goes for the Lowepro slingshot as well. The built in rain cover has saved me once or twice.

Is the bag capable of having the 70-200 attached onto the lens? If so, is it stable enough to bring around in the roughest journeys?

I am concerned that the 70-200 may be too heavy when attached onto the lens and inside the bag that it may damage it in some ways.
