    Looks halfway credible...

    Well, we are getting very close to Canon's regularly scheduled anouncement date...I don't think any of us will be surprised to see some new Canon DSLR announced in the next few weeks or so...

    But, where are the 3D or 7D rumors...that's what I want to know!

    wait... hang on... lemme check. Yip...I wet myself.

    Now if only the exchange rate would drop by about 7:1 then I might be able to afford one.

    Maybe I should start a africa and its culture tour in exchange for cameras? What do you guys think?

    If it's true I'm so glad to see canon has took the initiative in the industry and lead the way with a ... 11 year old body...

    3" LCD though thank god because if there isn't anything more important then a dSLR it's the view....err... LCD!

    But what are the specs? That 9 point AF is essentially the same as we have now?

    Probably the same ones that have been floating around for a while that suggest evolution rather than revolution (much like the 350D->400D upgrade).

    I think that the best "feature" of this camera is going to be its low price. In that way, it can heavily differentiate itself from the D200, which still goes for $1600-$1700 (low supply) and whatever comes after it. It'll still slot itself above the D80, but it's going to be in the low $1000's most likely.
