Hey everybody, thanks for all the support on the concept. One other forum I posted it on didn't embrace it quite as well.

    Some of the comments included:
-- Too many names (time stood still studio, j. michael wallace photography, jmw-photo.com) and none of them memorable. That "Jeff" isn't listed anywhere so if I add that - 4 identities. Of the 4, j. michael wallace photography shows the most promise.
-- "The card is very corporate stock photo looking with the clock. It's very office-ish" (sorry Andy)
    -- Not "professional" looking enough

Of course, as the creative process goes I already have some new ideas.

This was the initial concept in my head. I think it can still be tweeked, but I have my first solo gigs coming up on Aug 25 & Sept 15 so I had to get something decent ready.

The idea of "time stood still" + "j. michael wallace photography" partially flows from identies such as "Dreamsworks" a Steven Speilberg production.

I like how the concept of "time stood still" and photography go together and what it offers with the use of a clock. Not to mention it doesn't lock me into or portray one type of photography.

With "j. michael wallace", I fear I am going to have to pay a pretty penny to have a logo of some sort conceptualized. Also, most photographers that go the "name" route seem to use images on thier cards.

Anyway, more thoughts you have would be gratiously accepted.

The shot was taken during the height of his photographic enlightenment known as his Canon phase. He has since strayed the course.

I'm not disagreeing, but for $40 and the gigs coming up soon - I've got something to tide me over until I can re-conceptualize.
