    Two Hours Traffic (Live music)

Craziest lights I've ever seen. They were can lights with hundreds of LEDs in them. Made WB imposable and weird strobe effect. I tried the best I could. I did a lot of BW conversions on this set because the colours were soooo off. I'd like to hear what you guys think. It's not for everyone, and at first I was very disappointed in my performance at the show but after the conversions I feel better.

The band was great I really enjoyed the show.

#1 The singer looks nothing like he sounds....

    #3

    #4

#5 a little colour to mix things up.

#6 Here is where you can see the strobe effect... I kinda like it.

    #7

    #8 One more colour.

    thanks for looking!

No 5 is bad ass Nick! I really dig the color shots - whats wrong with that color? Or were these two the best color shots? IDK - I'm curious now - I wanna see what the "Bad" lighting looks like.

Thanks Andy, here are some examples of the bad lighting. It wasn't bad so much as really weird. It was like florescent bulb constantly changing WB but when viewing it in person the colour appeared to stay constant.

    #1 ISO 1600 F2.0 1/100

#2 Taken pretty much right after the first shot the lighting wasn't flashing or anything, but notice the change. I hate too much red light, these shots look kinda cool but I think the novelty wears off quickly.
ISO 1600 F2.0 1/100 ( there should not be that strobe like stuff going on with the guys hand at 1/100 SS, strange)

    #3 ISO 1600 F2.2 1/100

#4 It's not too hard to adjust for in lightroom a few slides of the Temp and Tint sliders but I much prefer lighting like the shots I posted last week.

#5 is album cover worthy. Seriously one of the best musician shots I've ever seen. As for your white balance issues... You don't shoot RAW under these conditions?

That's funny because I don't think #5 is all that good. I wasn't even going to post it! That's why I like to get feedback, it gives me some fresh eyes on my work so comments are always appreciated, thank you.

Ya, RAW, what can I say? I tried it for a while but didn't see enough there to make me want to deal with loading times and the extra space needed. Maybe when I upgrade my desktop I'll switch, but lightroom does a good enough job adjusting WB for my use even in extreme conditions like the ones I posted.

Thanks for posting more Nick. . . I really like #4 in the second set. I think you're using lightroom to tweak the WB to your benefit - the colors look really cool to my eyes man. Nice. Oh and should I ask - hows the 35 working for you? LMAO - you're getting bitchin results with it, that much is clear. No need to answer that question really, but I know you want to so go ahead!

Nick - The 'bad lighting' shots actually look OK in the context. I wouldn't be uncomfortable leaving them like that.
