    That's some serious detail
Nice - isn't that 50mm f/1.4 just the best? I use it more than my zoom lens these days.

Here's one of the wife while on a hike this past weekend....

50 1.4 @f/2.2 on the 5D (at times I seem to get some "harsh" bokeh with this lens on the 5D - does the bokeh here look "unpleasant" [especially the right lower quarter], or is it just me?)......

i suspect you'll be noticing that on quite a few lens with the FF 5d's pushing the capability of the extreme corners of your lens'. i have a few friends saying the same of the D3 and some of their lens' which worked flawlessy on the d2x. guess what ? spend more on better glass ! lol

btw: it does look a little harsher and not quite as "creamy" as you would expect from the 1.4 but certianly not offensive.

Wonderful macros guys. I agree, that mountain road looks like fun.

This is from a local vineyard. I was aiming to get a narrow depth of field but seemed unable to throw the foreground and background out of focus. This one was with the 17-55 at 28mm and f2.8 (0.6s, ISO400, IS on - no tripod but leaning on a wine barrel!). I also tried with the 70-200 but still couldn't get the look I was after and this one was the best composed.
