Ohhh thanks. Yeah, I didn't notice that he had posted the settings.

    Now I know.
Sorry, I thought I had mentioned it. I only made it to the Wendelstein house (1724m) though, as the trail to the summit is still heavily snowed in (and thus closed).

I did not use any filters (aside from a UV filter for protection) nor did I do any pp other that raw conversion and resizing. Mother Nature was just very kind to me that day.

Here is my father-in-law's plantation on the southern tip of Taiwan. It was taken in the summer. I guess I am just wishing for another summer's day now that it hasn't stopped raining for almost three weeks straight.

This is called the 'Clock tower'. Its one of the oldest landmarks in Dubai and one of the few that remain from the old Dubai though I wonder how long it will stand...

Actually he has a massive vegetable garden with everything you can think of, but what you see being cultivated in the photo are "si gua" which is a type of sponge cucumber. It's actually very interesting. It's good to eat but also used in making the original loofah. Anyways, I thought it was interesting. Being Canadian, I see so many things everyday that interest me here (even after 6 years). Her father thinks I'm a bit wierd but he appreciates my interest I guess

Nice shot faisal. I used to live in Abu Dhabi a long time ago, and still remember some of the old landmarks. Keep on posting.

Here's one to keep up with the renewed animal theme:
