Zmikers, I am assuming it is a photo of a painting, or is it a sculpture with some texture blending?

It is a very textured painting. There are some "gold" flakes in it and witht the right lighting, it really look cool. In my old house, I had it hung in the living room that catches the evening setting sun. Wow, did it ever look nice then!

LOL, ya the 24-105 is really too soft wide open, but I've been learning to love it stopped down to f/8 or f/10. Really disappointed it without at f/4 though. I always sharpen in photoshop after reducing its size for the web though, but just a touch to bring the sharpness back to where it was at the original size.
