I spent a couple of months in Central America. One island had a population of about 1200 residents. The main method of transportation aside from walking and bicycle was golf cart (only a few cars on the island). A speed bump was installed just before the entrance to the airstrip. It is basically 2 braids of thick rope - hardly visible in the picture.

Reminds me of Caye Caulker in Belize where my wife and I went last year. Tiny island, we loved it there.
It is Caye Caulker. Very charming place. I spent two weeks there in August and went back for the entire month of October. I'm going to Costa Rica next month and I'll probably take some time to head back to Belize again. Love the place.

I thought it looked familiar. Really neat place. Some amazing places on the mainland in Belize as well. The entire month of October? - you disgust me
Here's a few scenes you might recognize....(hope you guys don't mind me posting all these here)....
