    My attempt at a B&W building: a new casino going up in Atlantic City. It's certainly not up to the caliber of Rasidel's building pics, which are awesome.

    Its a good try! my only suggestion is to go easy on the sharpening in that specific area where Moire is forming like crazy.

    that's tough - this building will be a great place to fine-tune your abstract / pattern skills. and watch out for that moire..

    Yeah, I noticed the moire when I uploaded the pic, but on my computer screen it looks fine. I guess it has to do with the compression to resize the pic? Also, you say to go easy on the sharpening in that area, is it possible in photoshop to just sharpen specific areas of a pic? I don't have it (yet).

    Thanks, Rasidel for your encouragement. I have had my 40D for over a year now, but sometimes it feels like I just started yesterday.
