^^ ooh I like the feel on that shot, the toning is just enough, not too much - I feel like most of those kind of color toned shots are overdone. just my personal taste.

    Thats looks really nice Ras!

If i ever get my hands on one of those dMF backs, i am so going to try to get some cloud shots. For some reason i always find cloud shots to be, erm, noisy... and something missing, i can't picture it but i used to love just staring at them going by and i cant ever get that feeling in a picture.. anyways sorry for the small rant.

thanks - curious, what does the dMF back have to do with it? are they known for their ability to take pictures of clouds? I don't even know what that is...

dMF, is the digital medium format cameras, with huuuge sensors.

They are not known for their ability to take pictures of clouds, but i just figured that something that is aimed purely at IQ and nothing else, should damn well resolve enough of the fluffyness!

I could rent a P65+ (Something like 60mp) for i think 700$/2days.... But it would have to be related to some sort of gig... so i dont know if id have time to shoot clouds lol.

Heres a comparison between it and the 5dmk2.

As far as dxomark is concerned, i believe the p65+ is the highest rated camera for IQ, other then high iso ofc.

i heard that dxomark site is pointless and useless, lol

umm... clouds.. i think it has a lot to do with, well, the clouds. some don't have a lot of definition, some do. and are easier to photograph. my 2 cents.
