Updated my site, and figured I'd have a go at updating some of my older pictures. This was shot with a canon 400d and ef-s 17-55 f2.8:

I like the moodiness of your garage photowerkz.

Another cool shot of your cardboard friend NISM. Here is a less tightly cropped version:

Csae - the 1dsII sounds sweet.

Photowerkz - Love the lighting and PP.

Faisal - that second shot rocks.

Stephen - what kind of bike is that?

te1221, I love the juxtaposition of the two cars in your first shot but am not so keen on the second one.

Faisal, all your harbour shots are great, but my favourite is the last one. I can't decide if the light shinning through the wreak on the right is distracting or interesting, but I keep coming back to it so it obviously works.

Michael, it is my new Ducati Monster. I've been driving a car for the last five years or so and am a bit rusty. They are also very draconian with the speeding laws over here (double demerit points over the public holidays!) and this bike is so much more powerful than my last one, so I am taking it easy for now.

@Stephen : Yeah thats quite a nice ducati you got there, i generally dont like their style, but i like your's.

@Te : I like the first shot with the two cars, but the second one makes me think more of an accident then intended placement.

Maybe if they were Parrallel or something, not sure, i just know that my first instinct with the positioning of those two cars was accident, and i looked for damage, which there was none obviously.

@Michael : It is, the question is, how will it perform during my next gig. I expect high isos, which won't be great for it, and i will compare it directly to an extremely similar gig done at the same location with the 5d just a few weeks ago.

    Those are just great, Faisal!

Here's Angel Island, in the San Francisco Bay, on a rainy afternoon. I was teaching my students about the Rule of Thirds that day, so I took one for myself that violates the rule but--in my humble opinion--works pretty well.
