Hi again guys. Here's another of my reptiles. This time, it's a common tree lizard.
Shot through glass, with a 50D, 100mm Macro and 430EX w/ off-camera cord, held at camera right.
I know the rules are for one image per day, but pursuant to our previous conversation, I'm also posting my tweaked version. I adjusted levels to try to compensate for some of the loss of contrast due to shooting through glass. I prefer the tweaked image, but am curious as to how the difference is perceived by others.
Blindeye: I prefer the first shot better, the lizard seems to have better detail in it- particularly around under the eye, around the mouth. good stuff. How many reptiles do you own? Any Jackson's Chameleons?
Gabs and I went to a covered bridge in the country side to do some more shots for her parents back home in So-Cal.

Blindeye, I like both your lizards. On my monitor I can't see the difference between the two in your second photo.
I'm not sure about this photo of my son. In the original it was out of focus but after converting it to B&W I find that I don't mind. I even feel that the grain from the high ISO (1600) adds to the artistic feel. But maybe I'm just biased as I think he is gorgeous in any circumstance. What do people think?

Nism...love the lighting and perspective....very cool!!!
01514...nice motor shot shots, love the yellow lambo shot....I'm assuming you've added the blackness around the car....nice idea to remove the distractions....
Blindeye...Thanks and I like the first one as well...

Hi Cory -
Reptiles... I just have the beardie, a couple of the tree lizards, and a box turtle. Nothing major.
Thanks for the feedback. I didn't notice the loss of detail in #1 until you pointed it out. I'm going to go back and play with it again.
Your shot (and the others on Flickr) are stunning as usual - both the photography and Gaby. You're a fortunate man.
