    Mountain Sunset

Grabbed this on the way back home from Talkeetna.

TenD, great image, you got the light just right.
Floss, nice night images though I prefer a bit cooler tone. Have you tried to tweak WB?

Gintaras, I think your second shot (the hut on the lake) was fantastic.

Fiasal, both were great shots. The first was a cigarette lighter, but what was the second? It almost looks like blood!

Stephen, thanks of course. actually I am surprised someone loved this, that my trip was a total disappointment photo wise and food wise (my loved restaurant just happened to run out of barbarian duck)... seriously shooting in mountains it is so difficult to get the light just right and unfortunately I arrived to that lake later in the evening when the light was not great.
the reason I uploaded this hut was the object itself and that crystal clear water creating amazing impression. hopefully I find time to go there again and reshoot.

yeah... I nearly forgot, Michael, I love the bench shot, assume you did some PP for achieving a subtle effect.

Well there was a glow around the moon(think it was due to a really shallow cloud cover) that I tried to capture and then blended that with a normal moon shot....I think it did not come out as I wanted it to!!!

Gintaras, what I liked about your picture was the amazing colours and the serenity of the scene.
