    nice. what kind of processing is on there? LR? any 3rd party filters? if you dont wanna answer its all good.

    From my short stint with bug shots I've been told to stick with a faster shutter speed to capture the details in the eye of the bug. 1/60 is just too slow to capture that details so 1/100 or more would be a better. Also F4 is too shallow of a depth of field to really get enough of the bug in focus. But I really like the detail you've got from those wings....for a first timer, it's a very nice effort!!!

    Flip - that shot looks a little blurry - what was your SS?

    If he's talking to me it was just a lightroom preset (Bleach bypass) with some minor adjustments... i backed off of it a bit in a few areas because the preset is too strong.
