    It is to make us feel dark and depressed... but happy... but confused. What happened to the real birds? What is lurking in the shadows? What kind of a madman is behind that camera? What can the health care system be like there if the doctors are always out taking photographs? OK, I'm getting carried away.

    I prefer soft light then reflected light, its easier to do and work with in my opinion.

    For Soft light, a shoot through umbrella, or cardboard rim with a piece of cloth of tracing paper works and is easier to target then reflected light, not to mention you can get closer to your subjects with it.
